In a dazzling display of Bollywood prowess, Salman Khan has once again proven his box office might with the latest installment of the Tiger franchise.

Salman's Cinematic Triumph

Released by Yash Raj Films, Tiger 3 has stormed the global box office, raking in a staggering 94 crore ($11.35M) over the weekend.

The film, co-starring Katrina Kaif, made an impressive debut in several markets on Saturday before officially opening in India on Sunday, perfectly timed for Diwali Day. Contrary to expectations of a soft turnout on the festive occasion, the movie recorded a historic gross in India on Sunday, as reported by Yash Raj.

Breaking Records Globally

Not only did Tiger 3 conquer the Indian market, but it also secured the top spot for the overseas opening day, a feat that includes paid previews.

The film now stands as the highest-grossing Diwali release, surpassing its predecessors Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017).

The success of the Tiger franchise extends to its spinoffs, with War (2019) featuring Hrithik Roshan and the Shah Rukh Khan-led Pathaan, the second-highest-grossing Hindi-language film of all time in India.
